Hello, I want to ask is now clear that I write in English? I really want to understand your program but the language barrier prevents me to do it.

Well that somehow you can communicate. I have a problem with the addition of sounds to my game. If I add a sound, while the latter is no longer heard, or vice versa, and if add background music, the other sounds are not heard at all. What to do?

Hm, I don't think that I got the problem correctly...

You started a playsound() and while the sound ist playing you started a backgound music with playmusic() ?

This shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe you just post the Skript where the problem occurs... then it would be easier for us to help you.

is is possible (not likely though) that you need to disabled the Hardware EAX Option in the Setup of the game. Sometimes onboard chips have problems with that.

Do you have an onboard sound card. If you do you might have to shut off the Sound accelerators in DirectX. I have to do that when I'm working on my game. Just remember to turn them back on when you're playing commercial games.

Are you saying that when you play one sound, it cancels out the other sounds, such as background music or ambience?

Some sounds don't play at all with the accelerators on, and some voices stop working as well even with the accelerators turned off. With the voices I just rename the files and then they work but for how long I never know. I don't have background music, I just have sounds consistent with the scenes like birds singing or refrigerators on the blink etc.

I never had this problem when I had a good SoundBlaster in this machine, but it got taken out to put in another machine. So I'm guessing it's the lousy onboard sound card in this machine that's doing it.
